Rising Awareness, Rekindling Forgotten Wisdom: Blueprints to transform your life with Meaning and Fulfillment

Seeking and achieving clarity are two crucial steps in taking back control of your life.

Achieving clarity in all areas of your life is important. Some people assume that just sitting and starting on a list of goals will give them clarity on what they want. It’s not that simple. You have to first realize that you alone, are responsible for clarity in your life and your significant other, friends or co-workers cannot give it to you. It’s an internal thing. There are a number of ways to change not only your clarity but your overall mental and physical health.

1. Take a good long look around you. Are the people you hang out with, clear minded go-getter’s or have you surrounded yourself with what is termed, “space cadets-people who are floating through a muddled life with no sense of direction?” If you have space cadets in your life, then let them go and find people who are grounded in reality. Sadly, you may have a significant other who may be in the same ballpark as your friends. When you come to that realization, then it is time to also do some work on your relationship because both of need to be committed to achieving certain things in your lives. While you attempt to strive, you cannot let your significant other pull you down and apart.

When you do not realize how confused you are, you are not capable of seeking or achieving clarity !

2. When you are a single person, it is not so hard to look at your life and decide what to eliminate. Having a significant other will be more of a challenge. Don’t turn the other way, you must move forward. The television shows you watch for example, could be hindering your clarity. Reality shows are very rarely based in reality. If you must watch television, pick the history channel and others that stimulate your mind, getting you thinking. The same thing goes for the music you listen to and the books you read. An occasional thriller is fine but a steady diet of thrillers, paranormal romance, or biographies of movies stars, will only hurt you in the end run. Pick some non-fiction books that will help you achieve clarity, goals and self-development over all.

3.take care of your diet and your environment
Seeking and achieving clarity depends on a healthy mind and body ; Make sure that what you eat and drink helps you and not burden you further . Drink water, eat fruit or nuts. Your overall diet throughout the diet has a big bearing on whether or not you can achieve clarity. When you are buzzed on caffeine from soda or way too much coffee, not only will your heart race but your thinking will be all over the place.

Visualization and clarity go hand in hand. When you take time to visualize the life you desire, everything will come into focus. When you are building muscle, the best way to do it, is to lift the weight, hold it for a moment and then gently ease it back down. The holding pattern will create a vibration in your body. You will feel the energy and slowly lowering it, makes your muscle work harder. You can take the same principle and apply it to achieving clarity. Take time each day to sit quietly and begin to visualize everything in your life as the way you want it to be right at that moment. Really feel it throughout your body. As you do this each day, you are building the muscle of clarity. Your clarity will get stronger and stronger each day and those 90-day goals will be very clear and attainable to you.

You now have a good understanding of what clarity is. It is essential that you take action on what you have just read and not let the idea of gaining clarity sit and gather dust in the hard drive of your mind. Remember that clarity is you and your choices, so if you are allowing others to choose your goals and just act like a plastic bottle bobbing around on the ocean…who knows where you will end up.

Seeking and achieving Clarity Of Thought is also about ..

If your mind is scattered, then you can be certain that your decisions will also be scattered. One of the biggest symptoms of the world we live in, with its over-stimulation and information-saturation, is mental paralysis. Wading through your mind is akin to attempting to escape from quicksand. You can blame that on constant stimulation. You can also blame this technology clutter for your inability to learn, retain information, and shrinking attention span. Now, there are numerous devices and activities competing for your attention. So, your neural pathways have rewired themselves to handle it, which has made clarity of thought more complicated than it has ever been before.

Luckily, there are habits you can practice in order to help you regain clarity of thought. When you become aware of your issues, you can help your brain right itself.

Your Physical Environment
The space around you can impact your thoughts. If you sit in a room, filled with clutter, how do you expect to think clearly? You can’t. Your first step is to de-clutter your physical environment, at home, at work, and even in your car. Your workspace should be a sanctuary, if you have an office or study space at home, then it should be the same. Anything you don’t plan to use while working should be out of sight. That means to put your phone in a drawer, clear the desk of items you don’t need and allow your brain to focus solely on the task at hand.

Your routine Routine

Routine is good, and one of the reasons for this is that it creates a comfort zone for your thoughts and mind. This allows your brain to do its best work and is a prime way to regain clarity of thought. So, create a morning routine that you follow each day in order to regain clarity of thought. Experiment with different routines to find the one that leaves you feeling more focused and productive, and then stick to it.

Keeping a balance for seeking and achieving Clarity >

Clarity of thought is easier to obtain when you can find the right balance of work and rest. For example, the Pomodoro technique is a popular method that helps achieve this. You work for 20 minutes, fully focused, and when the time is up, you take a five-minute break. There are other techniques that have longer work and rest periods. However, the basic idea is that you allow yourself to fully focus during the work period before rewarding your mind a break. When you process a lot of information, your brain burns out. It can only focus for so long and it can only retain so much information. Allow yourself regular breaks.

4. No More Multi-Tasking
Your brain can only focus on one thing at a time. If you try to multi-task, all you will achieve is breaking focus and causing clarity of thought to go out the window. There is no badge of honor that comes with multi-tasking. All it really is is switching from task to task making it impossible to achieve anything at all. If you get bored working on one task, you can try task rotation. Choose your three most important tasks for the day. Give yourself 30 minutes to fully focus on one before a short break. When you return from break, you can focus on the second task before another short break. Then, the third, and so on. This might be a good way to help you regain your clarity of thought and prevent boredom from setting in. This particular method won’t work for everyone. Others will need to focus on one task until it is complete. It all depends on the tasks in question.

5. Lifestyle
To be more specific, your diet and sleep patterns. If you eat high-sugar, high-fat, processed food, then it’s going to influence your thinking process. This type of diet will also negatively impact your sleep, and we already know our sleep pattern has been linked to trouble retaining information, making decisions, and poor thinking. The experts at Harvard suggest the average adult needs between seven and a half and eight and a half hours of sleep each night (http://healthysleep.med.harvard.edu/need-sleep/what-can-you-do/assess-needs). Start with that, and as you improve your sleep you will find it’s much easier to make the right diet choices.
